Medicover is a specialised provider of diagnostic and healthcare services, focusing on markets mainly in Central and Eastern Europe and has recently entered India. The company operates through two divisions – Diagnostic Services and Healthcare Services.

 

Role: In close liaison with the Chief Medical Officer, oversee the development and maintenance of high clinical standards, audit, incident reporting and learning, to encourage continuous quality improvement across the Medicover Group, liaising with business internal auditors to ensure a consistent approach to audits against those standards and commissioning specific internal medical audits as necessary.

 

Accountable to: Chief Medical Officer and Medical Advisory Council

 

 

 

Zakres obowiązków

Duties:

• Support the development of robust systems and processes in relation to clinical governance and quality
• Facilitate clinical risk management and audit programmes across the Group
• Manage the Medial Risk Matrix
• Monitor all business internal medical audits and undertake or commission additional internal audit programmes as necessary
• Report results of relevant audits to the Medical Advisory Council and actions taken
• Encourage staff and clinician engagement in key clinical governance processes and programmes
• Develop and maintain inter-divisional and business risk team relationships to ensure that serious incidents and complaints are investigated in accordance with the relevant policies
• Ensure serious medical complaints and incidents have been reported to legal advisors and insurers. Liaise with insurers and lawyers as necessary re. claims and other external investigations.
• Co-ordinate and facilitate significant internal investigations in collaboration with the lead investigators, to include assisting with the writing of investigation reports and ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Ensure that actions arising from incident investigations are completed within given time line and that learning is shared across the organisation via the MAC where appropriate
• Work in close liaison with the Chief Medical Officer and Divisional Leads (e.g. clinical and nursing leads within the businesses) to identify key professional education requirements and assist with delivering these programmes as necessary

 

 


Poszukiwane kompetencje Requirements:

• Registered medical practitioner (as a plus)/education in healthcare management
• Professional experience in medical audit and general clinical governance
• Good command of spoken and written English, Polish an advantage
• Experience of working in a commercial healthcare organisation
• Able to travel to Medicover sites across the Group including India
